Abdullah is a dedicated leader with 22 years of experience in criminal justice and public safety, working across federal, state, and local systems to advance fair, effective, and community-centered justice policies. Her expertise in corrections and reentry services has played a crucial role in improving public safety and equity. She was instrumental in ensuring King County’s compliance with the Tiffany Hill Act, implementing proximity alerts to enhance protections for domestic violence survivors.

Beyond her work in criminal justice, Saudia is a trusted community organizer who has mobilized resources, engaged diverse communities, and built strategic partnerships to create lasting change. As the former Chair of the Diversity Commission for the City of Federal Way and Co-Chair of the Civil Service Commission, she has worked tirelessly to amplify community voices and advocate for equitable policies.
